About

I am Aistė Kalvelytė. I was born and grew up in Panevėžys, Lithuania. In 2014 I finished Vytautas Žemkalnis gymnasium. At the same year I started studying ceramics in Vilnius Academy of Arts. In 2018 I finished Bachelor and started ceramics Master studies in Vilnius Academy of Arts. When I started studying in the academy, I moved to Vilnius (Lithuania) and I live here until now.

Mostly I do ceramics, paint and draw. Personal exhibitions: “Ceramics”, “Kvadratas” Group of Cultural Initiatives pavilion “Gobis/Lauko ekspo”, 2022, Vilnius, Molėtai. Group exhibitions: “Mastery”, Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design Gallery “NEON”, 2019, Wroclaw (Poland); “United by the Sea”, “Kvadratas” Group of Cultural Initiatives pavilion “Gobis/Lauko ekspo”, 2019, Vilnius; “The Sky Falls Into The Sea”, Lithuanian Sea Museum, 2021 – 2022, Smiltynė; “Aukštaitija Art 2022. Open“, Panevėžys Civic Art Gallery, 2022, Panevėžys; “Chambers of Tales“, Daugavpils Mark Rothko Art Centre, 2022, Daugavpils (Latvia). As an assistant in 2020 I participated in international ceramics symposium „Intonation“ in Deidesheim, Germany.

In my spare time I play drums. I play in bands Tureto Sindromas and Keista Bjauri Žuvis. I‘m also interested in snowboarding and cycling.
