A measurement of the value of an art work must be complicated because the art itself is relative. But not everyone thinks like that. Politicians, businessmen – everybody think they’re an art critic who can easily determine to what extent one or another object can be considered “art”. The media successfully profits off of it: they make a scandal from every incompetent person’s speech about art and this is the way they get “clicks” and form the public opinion. This is a game and the participants play it often not because of some real material profit but because of their own arrogance. This is a game, in which the result is a low level of culture.
